Service Advisor
Job Role : Service Advisor acts as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department in a car showroom. They are responsible for understanding customer needs, recommending appropriate maintenance or repair services, coordinating with technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction while maximizing service revenue for the dealership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet customers, listen to their vehicle concerns, and record service requests accurately.
- Diagnose service needs by liaising with technicians and understanding technical issues.
- Provide cost estimates, timelines, and explanations of repairs or maintenance services.
- Schedule service appointments and manage workflow in the service department.
- Maintain clear communication with customers during the service process.
- Ensure all service documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards.
- Promote additional services, parts, and warranty programs to enhance customer satisfaction and revenue.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and resolve issues promptly.
- Coordinate with parts and inventory teams to ensure availability of necessary components.
