Service Manager
Job Role : Service Manager at a Hyundai automobile showroom or authorized service center is responsible for overseeing the entire service and workshop operations to ensure high-quality customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves managing service advisors and technicians, ensuring compliance with Hyundai service standards, controlling costs, and driving customer satisfaction and after-sales revenue. The Service Manager plays a critical role in maintaining service excellence and long-term customer loyalty.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage overall service and workshop operations
- Lead and supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with Hyundai service processes and quality standards
- Monitor service productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time
- Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure resolution
- Drive service revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction targets
- Oversee warranty claims, service campaigns, and recalls
- Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate with parts department
- Ensure proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
- Review daily, monthly, and annual service performance reports
- Control service costs and improve operational profitability
- Coordinate with Hyundai representatives and attend review meetings
- Ensure safety standards and discipline within the workshop
