Job Role :  Service Manager at a Hyundai automobile showroom or authorized service center is responsible for overseeing the entire service and workshop operations to ensure high-quality customer service, operational efficiency, and profitability. This role involves managing service advisors and technicians, ensuring compliance with Hyundai service standards, controlling costs, and driving customer satisfaction and after-sales revenue. The Service Manager plays a critical role in maintaining service excellence and long-term customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities : 

  • Manage overall service and workshop operations
  • Lead and supervise service advisors, technicians, and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with Hyundai service processes and quality standards
  • Monitor service productivity, efficiency, and turnaround time
  • Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure resolution
  • Drive service revenue, retention, and customer satisfaction targets
  • Oversee warranty claims, service campaigns, and recalls
  • Monitor spare parts usage and coordinate with parts department
  • Ensure proper maintenance of workshop tools and equipment
  • Review daily, monthly, and annual service performance reports
  • Control service costs and improve operational profitability
  • Coordinate with Hyundai representatives and attend review meetings
  • Ensure safety standards and discipline within the workshop
