Site Engineer
Job Role : Site Engineer is responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring that work is executed according to drawings, specifications, and project schedules. They coordinate with contractors, supervisors, and project managers to maintain quality, safety, and efficiency. The role involves supervising labor, monitoring progress, resolving technical issues, and ensuring that construction activities comply with design standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and manage daily construction site activities
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and specifications
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
- Monitor project progress and report to senior management
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations
- Interpret technical drawings and provide guidance on-site
- Manage material requirements and site resources
- Maintain site records, reports, and documentation
- Resolve on-site technical issues and challenges
- Assist in planning and scheduling of work activities
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower and equipment
- Coordinate with billing and planning teams for progress tracking
- Check and verify measurements of completed work
