SQA Head
Job Role : SQA Head is responsible for overseeing the supplier quality assurance function, ensuring that all purchased materials, components, and systems meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This role leads the SQA team, develops quality strategies, audits suppliers, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the SQA team to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards and company policies
- Develop and implement supplier quality assurance strategies, processes, and metrics
- Evaluate, qualify, and audit new and existing suppliers to ensure quality and reliability of materials and components
- Review supplier performance data, track defects, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and engineering teams to resolve supplier-related quality issues
- Establish quality agreements, inspection plans, and acceptance criteria with suppliers
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, and industry quality standards
