Store In-Charge
Job Role : Store In-Charge of is responsible for managing the overall inventory, storage, and distribution of automotive equipment and spare parts, including vehicle lifts, tire changers, wheel balancers, hydraulic tools, and other garage machinery. The role ensures accurate stock control, timely availability of materials for production and service teams, and proper documentation. The Store In-Charge coordinates with procurement, sales, and service departments to maintain smooth warehouse operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage day-to-day operations of the store, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials and equipment.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, stock levels, and bin locations.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment of stock.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and packaging of automotive garage equipment.
- Monitor and control stock movements to prevent loss, damage, or pilferage.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconciliation with system records.
- Maintain proper documentation of inward and outward stock transactions.
- Coordinate with sales and service teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and spare parts.
- Implement safety standards, housekeeping, and security protocols in the warehouse.
- Supervise store staff and assign tasks efficiently.
- Prepare inventory reports and share updates with management.
