Surveyor
Job Role : Surveyor is responsible for measuring, mapping, and assessing land and construction sites to provide accurate data for planning, design, and construction. The role involves conducting topographical surveys, boundary assessments, and site inspections to ensure that projects are developed according to legal, technical, and regulatory requirements. The Surveyor works closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to provide precise measurements and insights that guide construction and development activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct land surveys and measure property boundaries accurately
- Prepare topographical maps and site plans
- Use surveying instruments and technology (Total Station, GPS, drones, etc.)
- Collect and analyze site data for design and construction planning
- Verify land levels, contours, and elevations for construction purposes
- Assist in layout and alignment of buildings, roads, and infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and zoning requirements
- Maintain records of survey measurements and calculations
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers
- Identify potential site issues and provide recommendations
- Monitor and inspect construction for alignment with survey data
- Prepare survey reports and documentation for stakeholders
- Advise on land acquisition, property disputes, and site feasibility
