Waste Management Operator
Job Role : Waste Management Operator is responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the campus, handling waste collection and disposal, supporting recycling activities, and ensuring a hygienic and safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collect, segregate, and dispose of campus waste according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in classrooms, offices, washrooms, corridors, and outdoor areas.
- Operate cleaning tools, equipment, and waste-handling machinery as required.
- Support recycling programs and ensure proper waste segregation (dry/wet/biomedical, etc.).
- Monitor dustbins, waste points, and sanitation areas across the campus.
- Report damaged areas, maintenance needs, or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Assist in setting up cleaning schedules for events, hostels, and common areas.
- Ensure safe handling of chemicals and follow institutional cleaning protocols.
