Weighing/Batching Officer

Job Role : Weighing/Batching Officer is responsible for accurately weighing and batching raw materials according to production recipes and standard operating procedures. This role ensures precision in material handling, supports production efficiency, and maintains compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Accurately weigh raw materials according to production formulas and batch sheets.
  • Prepare and transfer batches to production areas following SOPs.
  • Ensure all weighing and batching records are complete and accurate.
  • Inspect raw materials for quality, quantity, and compliance before use.
  • Coordinate with production and QC teams to ensure correct material usage.
  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the weighing and batching area.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies or deviations in material quantities.
  • Adhere to safety, hygiene, and GMP standards during handling of materials.
  • Calibrate weighing equipment and ensure proper functioning.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock verification of raw materials.
